Google's virtual assistant for phones, Gemini, has received an update enabling it to seamlessly launch Google Maps navigation based on user commands.

The recent update, as outlined in the Play Store release notes for the Gemini app, introduces the capability for users to simply say, "Navigate to [destination]" or "take me to [location]."

Upon receiving these prompts, Gemini promptly generates a brief overview of the intended route, complete with estimated travel time and distance.
