Google has introduced a more affordable entry-level option for its Google One subscription service, expanding its availability outside of India.

As of September 15, Google confirmed the rollout of its Google One Lite tier to additional countries. Initially launched in India, this new subscription offers users 30GB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Google Drive, and Gmail for just ₹59 (around 0.70 USD) per month. This price is less than half the cost of the existing 100GB Basic plan.

The Lite option, which doubles the free 15GB storage given to all users upon signing up, also includes a one-month free trial. However, it cannot be shared with other users, likely due to its smaller storage capacity.

The Lite tier was first noticed in July when code in the Google Photos Android app hinted at its arrival.
