PwC has announced a significant partnership with OpenAI, becoming the largest customer and the first reseller of OpenAI's enterprise product, according to a statement released on Wednesday (May 29).

This move highlights the growing trend among businesses to integrate and leverage generative artificial intelligence.

As part of this new agreement, PwC will implement ChatGPT Enterprise, a specialized version of the AI chatbot developed by the Microsoft-backed OpenAI, designed specifically for large corporations.

The rollout will encompass 75,000 employees in the United States and 26,000 in the United Kingdom, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

PwC emphasized its extensive engagement with generative AI, stating, "We are actively engaged in genAI with over 95% of UK and US consulting client accounts, alongside discussing the use and implications of AI with many of our audit clients."

However, the company did not disclose the financial specifics of the deal or further details regarding its plans to resell the AI product.
