Apple Breaks $1 Trillion Brand Value Mark, Leads Global Rankings
Apple Inc. has become the first brand to surpass $1 trillion in brand value, marking a 15% increase from the previous year, according to Kantar's BrandZ global ranking released on Wednesday (June 12). This milestone solidifies Apple's position as the world's most valuable brand for the third consecutive year in 2024. Alphabet's Google and Microsoft follow in the rankings, valued at $753 billion and $713 billion, respectively.
Earlier this week, Apple introduced new AI features aimed at boosting demand for iPhones, potentially reversing a recent decline in sales amid volatile consumer spending and renewed competition in the tech sector. Counterpoint analyst Varun Mishra highlighted Apple's consistent ability to deliver resonant products, services, and messaging, fostering a strong fan base.
Apple's market capitalization now stands at $3.18 trillion, surpassing AI chip leader Nvidia, which has nearly tripled in value and reached a market cap of $2.97 trillion.
