Appcharge, a platform empowering mobile game publishers to sell directly to players, has raised $26 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Creandum, with backing from Supercell, BITKRAFT Ventures, Moneta Ventures, and previous investors Play Ventures, Glilot Capital Partners, and angel investors.
The company, which had earlier raised $5 million in Seed funding, plans to use the investment to scale its white-label offerings and meet growing demand from game studios seeking to boost revenue, expand services, and enhance player engagement.
Founded by CEO Maor Sason and General Manager Roei Barassi, Appcharge employs around 50 people, primarily based in Israel. Its platform enables game developers to retain up to 95% of revenue from virtual item sales while enhancing player loyalty. Appcharge offers branded web stores, gamified promotions, global payment integration, and SDKs for in-app payments, providing a comprehensive solution for mobile publishers.
