Tunisian Energy Startup, Wattnow, Expands to France with a Subsidiary in Toulouse
Tunis-based startup, Wattnow, established in 2018 with a focus on optimizing energy consumption for businesses, is making strides on the international front.
As reported by the French newspaper, Gazette du Midi, the company has selected Toulouse as the location for its inaugural subsidiary in France.
The Gazette du Midi reveals that Wattnow's strategic move to France involves introducing a solution that melds e-learning with the Internet of Things (IoT).
Additionally, in a bid to bolster its software development capabilities, the startup is gearing up to inaugurate a Research and Development (R&D) center on French soil.
Highlighting Wattnow's collaborative efforts, it's worth noting that in October 2022, the company entered into a significant partnership with Société Arabe Des Industries Pharmaceutiques (SAIPH).
This partnership aimed at deploying an intelligent energy management system across SAIPH's entire production site in Zaghouan, marking a pivotal moment in their energy optimization initiatives.
