South African fintech startup NeoNomad has launched Africa's first-ever hybrid exchange platform, a pioneering web application set to transform financial services across the continent.
This platform seeks to address key issues such as financial exclusion, high transaction fees, and limited banking access, which are common challenges in many African nations.
Central to NeoNomad's platform is ZARcoin (ZARC), a stablecoin tied to the South African Rand, which bridges the gap between cryptocurrency and traditional currency.
ZARC enables fast and secure digital transactions both within Africa and globally.
The platform also prioritizes transparency and compliance by strictly adhering to regulations related to anti-money laundering, counter-financing of terrorism, know-your-customer, and privacy standards.
