InSky Robotics Launches First Solar Robotics Plant to Address GCC Solar Sector Needs
Australian tech firm InSky Robotics has inaugurated its first GCC facility, VIM Solar Robotics, in Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah. This new facility aims to meet the growing demand for robotic solutions in the solar energy sector across the GCC region.
The Ras Al Khaimah plant will focus on assembling, storing, and distributing VIM Solar Robotics’ advanced VOLTIMATE robotic cleaners, which are renowned for setting a global standard in solar farm cleaning automation.
The VOLTIMATE robots are designed with standardized components, making them easier to service and reducing maintenance and operational costs. Built to endure severe weather conditions and with a lifespan exceeding 20 years—matching that of typical solar panels—the robots are engineered to operate without batteries or complex electronics.
