The Region’s Economic Capital (2015-2016)

Businesses around the world have preferred Dubai to anywhere else in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region to seat their leadership teams. Dubai has become the centralized headquarter base for multinational companies (MNCs) since the 1990’s.

Today, out of the 196 Fortune 500 companies which have set-up a dedicated office for the MEA region, 138 (70%) have selected Dubai for their regional headquarters. This is largely due to the Emirate’s political, economic, and social stability, but also due to Dubai’s business-friendly policies.
