Apple Introduces the World's Slimmest 15-inch Macbook Air
Apple kicked off its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote on June 5th, 2023, and announced the long-rumored new 15-inch model of the Macbook Air.
Following its predecessor, the new MacBook Air boasts a sleek profile, measuring just 11.5mm in thickness and weighing slightly over 3.3 pounds. Apple claims it's the thinnest 15-inch laptop on the market, being 40% thinner and half a pound lighter than the best-selling comparable laptop. It runs on Apple's own M2 chipset, the same as the existing 13-inch MacBook Air. In the video demo, the laptop showcased a standard headphone jack, two USB-C ports, and support for Apple's MagSafe charging dock.
