Apple Announces Mixed Reality Headset with a Starting Price of $3,499

Apple kicked off its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote on June 5th, 2023, with the announcement of Vision Pro and other lineup, as reported by CNBC:
Other products announced are:
- The 15-inch MacBook Air
- The Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra
- The Mac Pro with M2 Max and M2 Ultra
- iOS 17 for iPhone
- iPadOS 17 for iPad
- macOS Sonoma for Mac
- FaceTime for Apple TV
- watchOS 10
- visionOS for the Vision Pro headset

The headset will run on VisionOS, a brand new and first operating system designed from the ground up for spatial computing, and will be capable of running multiple apps and a 3D engine.
The Vision Pro marks Apple's first new major product line since 2014.
