1Trolley's Evolution: Pioneering Retail Solutions in Egypt
Egyptian e-commerce startup 1Trolley has transformed from a cross-category aggregator into a comprehensive digital solution for retailers, facilitating access, management, and payments from customers.
Established in late 2019, 1Trolley initially operated as an aggregator platform but quickly transitioned into a B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, concentrating on demand generation, supply chain management, and payment services.
According to Walid Rashwan, the founder and CEO, 1Trolley offers an integrated SaaS system that digitizes demand signals, supply chains, and payments, ensuring a quicker, smoother, and secure experience for customers.
This innovative approach is built upon three key components: HIVE MIND, an all-in-one m-commerce, booking, and scheduling platform equipped with a loyalty engine; HIVE, a SaaS platform furnishing partners with micro-fulfillment solutions; and 1Pay, a blockchain-based solution for managing various e-payment methods with real-time reconciliation.
Rashwan emphasizes that 1Trolley stands out from its competitors by providing a holistic, end-to-end solution encompassing all three pillars within a single integrated SaaS system.
While there may be competition in each individual aspect, 1Trolley remains the sole provider of such a comprehensive suite of services.
