Where and What are Kuwait-Based Investors and Companies Buying?

Acquirors from Kuwait were involved in 121 transactions for the period between January 2017 to June 2022.
More than half of the transactions, 74 to be exact, were for targets based in Kuwait.
There were three GCC countries in the top five which include targets from Saudi Arabia, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, each with less than 10 transactions.
In terms of industries, close to a quarter of the transactions were in the Financials sector.
The top three industries accounted for 55% of all transactions and other two industries include Real Estate and Consumer.
