Saudi Arabia is located in Western Asia and occupies 80% of the Arabian Peninsula with a land area of 2.15 million sqkm. It is the largest country in the Arabian Peninsula, second largest in the MENA region and the 13th largest country in the world, by land area.

Its unique location gives it great advantages as it is bordered by 7 countries, the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea which play a crucial role in global shipping lines; the neighboring Suez Canal, which connects the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and is operated by the Egyptians, is responsible for shipping 12% of global trade.
