Sheba Plastic

Sheba Plastic is a climate tech startup based in Kigali, dedicated to addressing the inadequate disposal of plastic waste. Our solution integrates technology such as a mobile app, Ai-integrated smart bins, and an online data dashboard to sustainably collect, sort and recycle waste at the source while collecting data. We reward consumers for their sustainable behaviours, when they dispose of their waste in our smart bins instead of throwing them away. These rewards can be redeemed through our e-wallet or withdrawn directly via mobile wallets. For stakeholders like Coca Cola, Pepsi and Heineken, we provide them with data on their scope-3 carbon emissions and environmental compliance at the consumer level. This data helps partners understand their climate impact, consumers behaviours and make more sustainable decisions.
