Dubai AI Festival 2026: A Convergence of Capital, Governance and Deployment
26 October 2026•
This Special Report is the official publication of the Dubai AI Festival, a DIFC Initiative, which returns in October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre for its third edition. Held under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, the Festival is organised by Dubai AI Campus in partnership with DIFC and the Office of the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications.
Since its launch in 2024 as the Dubai AI & Web3 Festival, the platform has expanded steadily in both scale and institutional weight. The inaugural edition drew more than 6,800 delegates from over 100 countries; the second, in April 2025, drew more than 10,000 participants, including 500 investors. The move to DWTC for 2026 reflects this upward trajectory, with organisers targeting more than 20,000 attendees, 200+ global speakers and 200+ exhibitors.

The Festival is positioned as a business-focused convening where governments, enterprises, investors and technology leaders meet in a single environment. Its structure combines public-stage dialogue with curated networking and commercial engagement formats, allowing participants to move from discussion to direct interaction.
Agenda & Thematic Focus
The programme spans two days and is structured across Plenary and Innovation stages, alongside roundtables and workshops. Topics range from national AI strategies and global governance to industry transformation and applied enterprise use cases. The Festival is organised around eight themes: Infrastructure & Investment; Global AI Governance; Innovation & Ethics; AI Literacy; Future of Work; AI for All; AI Cornerstone; and Immersive Experiences.
Day One centres on global leadership and economic positioning, including discussions on AI as a national strategy, regulatory coordination and large-scale partnerships. Day Two shifts toward sectoral deployment and operational integration, with sessions examining AI in banking, life sciences, sustainability, autonomous systems and customer experience.
A dedicated governance track, AI Nations, forms a distinct component of the 2026 programme. Hosted in collaboration with Dubai Future Foundation, AI Nations convenes ministers, regulators and policy leaders to explore responsible AI frameworks, interoperability standards and cross-border cooperation. The inclusion of this platform places governance dialogue alongside commercial activity rather than separating it into a parallel forum.
