Saudi Arabia-based Ula.me, a rising EdTech startup, has successfully secured $28 million in a Series B funding round led by Rua Growth Fund, with participation from Jordan Capital & Investment Fund and Foursan Group.

With this investment, Ula aims to expand its operations in Saudi Arabia and launch an advanced digital learning platform powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI).

The platform is designed to provide a personalized learning experience by analyzing students’ performance and individual needs, ensuring more efficient and effective education.

Additionally, the company plans to integrate Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies into its platform to create an interactive and immersive learning environment, making educational content more engaging and stimulating for students.

Founded by entrepreneur Alaa Jarrar, Ula is committed to providing equal educational opportunities for children across the Arab world, regardless of their financial or geographical circumstances.

The company aims to bridge the gap between public and private education by offering high-quality, technology-driven learning solutions.

Education experts believe that such initiatives significantly enhance learning quality and help develop students’ skills, aligning them with the demands of a rapidly evolving, AI-driven digital job market.

Saudi Arabia’s education sector is undergoing a rapid digital transformation, in line with Vision 2030, which prioritizes technological innovation in education.

Investments in EdTech solutions are expected to play a crucial role in improving learning quality and expanding access to education.

With this new funding, Ula is positioning itself as a leader in the digital education space, offering cutting-edge learning models that cater to the needs of future generations and contribute to building a knowledge-based society.
