TRIFIC SEZ Secures Major $47.5 Million Funding Boost from Vantage Capital
Two Rivers International & Innovation Centre (TRIFIC SEZ), a distinctive business park in Nairobi’s diplomatic zone, has received a $47.5 million investment from Vantage Capital, Africa’s largest mezzanine fund manager. This significant funding will drive TRIFIC SEZ's expansion, including the acquisition and renovation of a 14,975 square meter office tower. Moreover, plans are underway to develop two new Grade A office towers, offering a total of 76,800 square meters of leasable space.
Tenants of TRIFIC SEZ will benefit from a dynamic business environment within the larger Two Rivers precinct, which features residential areas, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.
Warren van der Merwe, managing partner at Vantage Capital, expressed pride in partnering with Centum, a well-regarded investment group, stating, “This collaboration will create jobs and attract foreign investment to Kenya.”
Centum's CEO, James Mworia, echoed this sentiment, noting that Vantage Capital's investment will enable TRIFIC SEZ to provide top-tier facilities, thereby attracting businesses and stimulating Kenya’s economy through job creation, foreign investment, and increased export revenue.
