Hospitality brand Tribe Stays has raised USD 2.8 million (Rs 24 crore) in a seed round co-led by Artha Venture Fund and Riverwalk Holdings, with participation from Kunal Khanna, Krishna Jain, and several family offices and high-net-worth individuals, as per media reports.

The company will deploy the capital to expand its accommodation portfolio across its three sub-brands Tribe Student Accommodation, Tribe Commune, and Tribe Suites as it strengthens its presence in the managed living segment.

Tribe Stays currently operates 650 beds in Pune and plans to add 1,000 beds during the current financial year. Its broader target is to scale to 25,000 beds across tier I and tier II markets including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune.

Founded by Yogesh Mehra, Tribe Stays offers premium long-stay and short-stay facilities under its integrated living brands. Its properties cater to students, professionals, corporates, and executive travellers, providing fully managed, amenity-led stays in major Indian cities.

The company also plans to deepen partnerships with universities and enterprises seeking structured, high-quality accommodation solutions for relocating students and employees.
