Tark Games, a publisher focused on independent PC and console game developers, announced that it has secured funding. According to Tark Games, the startup raised $2.5 million in a round involving Ludus Ventures, APY Ventures, and Maxis Ventures.

With this investment, Tark Games will provide financial support to early-stage independent teams and aims to help games developed by small but talented teams achieve global success.

Let's add that Tark Games was founded by İbrahim Yıldırım, one of the first employees of Peak Games, and İlker Ergen, who served as CEO of InGame Group, the developer of Zula.

This team, with significant experience in product development, marketing, and publishing in the field of PC and console games, has taken an active role in both creative and commercial processes by leading projects that have previously achieved global success.

According to information provided by the initiative, the most important difference that distinguishes Tark from traditional publishers is that it actively and financially contributes not only at the end of the publishing process, but also to the entire production cycle, from product strategy to development, from user feedback to platform collaborations.

Ludus Ventures General Partner İsmet Gökşen stated that Tark fills the missing publisher profile in Turkey's PC and Console gaming ecosystem, adding that it not only releases games but also provides strategic guidance, production support, financial backing, and global visibility to developers.

APY Ventures Fund Manager Mustafa Keçeli stated that game development today requires not only technical skills but also the right business models and sustainable support mechanisms, and shared that Tark has created a comprehensive support structure by correctly understanding these needs of independent teams.
