Talk360, a South African-based international calling app, has raised $1.4 million in a pre-Series A funding round.

The funds will accelerate the company’s expansion, with a goal to connect seven million users by 2025 and support long-term profitability.

Founded in 2016 by South African entrepreneur Dean Hiine and Dutch partners Hans Osnabrugge and Jorne Schamp, Talk360 allows affordable international calls to both mobile and landline numbers.

The company, which operates across South Africa, the Netherlands, India, and Nigeria, connected over four million users globally in 2023.

The latest funding was led by HAVAÍC, contributing $1 million, with the remaining $400,000 from other investors, bringing the startup's valuation to $30 million.
