Following discussions with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Charles Odii, the Director General of SMEDAN, emphasized the agency's determination to advance the Renewed Hope economic prosperity agenda, with a specific focus on tackling challenges hindering SME growth.

Odii highlighted that the meeting with the president provided an opportunity to delve into the 'Grow Nigeria' strategy, a comprehensive approach aimed at providing SMEs with crucial guidance, resources, opportunities, and workforce support necessary for their success.

In a statement released by SMEDAN's media unit, Odii stated, "SMEs are central to the president’s mission to eradicate poverty and ensure prosperity reaches all corners of Nigeria."

He continued, "His commitment was evident as we discussed SMEDAN’s GROW Nigerian strategy, which includes plans to create an enabling environment for over 40 million small businesses, collectively providing over 60 million jobs.
