Bahraini social commerce startup Sellou has announced the closing of its $3 million Seed funding round.

The company plans to use the funds to develop its platform, expand its reach across the Middle East and North Africa, and further establish itself as a leading video-first commerce marketplace.

Sellou enables sellers to present their products using short-form video content through an easy-to-create mini-store that can be seamlessly linked with WhatsApp and Instagram. The platform also integrates a live chat feature, allowing direct communication between sellers and interested buyers.

Founded in 2020 by Salman Al Khalifa, Sellou is redefining e-commerce in the region by merging video content, social interaction, and conversational tools to create a seamless and engaging shopping experience.
