By Staff Writer 08 August 2024

The UAE’s digital-first Islamic community bank, ruya, has formed a strategic partnership with LuLu Exchange, a prominent financial services provider in the UAE. This collaboration allows ruya customers to deposit cash directly and instantly into their ruya accounts at any of the 140 LuLu Exchange branches across the UAE, free of charge.

Ajman-based ruya emphasized its ongoing mission to revolutionize banking services by offering a wide range of financial solutions through innovative, secure, and fast technologies. Similarly, LuLu Exchange has been a leader in transforming the cross-border payments sector by using cutting-edge technology, expanding its service network, and focusing on customer-centric solutions. This partnership reinforces LuLu Exchange’s collaboration with digital banks and tech firms, enhancing its fintech offerings.

In addition to this new service, ruya already provides the capability for customers to open bank accounts in less than five minutes using UAE Pass. The new arrangement further empowers ruya customers with the convenience of cash deposits at any LuLu Exchange location in the UAE.

Christoph Koster, CEO of ruya, commented on the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with LuLu Exchange underscores our commitment to enhancing the customer experience and broadening our service offerings. By enabling cash deposits through LuLu Exchange branches, we are making banking more accessible and convenient for our customers.”
