Riyadh Air and noon payments Join Forces to Enhance Digital Transactions and Elevate Passenger Payment Experiences
Riyadh Air has announced a partnership with noon payments to enhance digital transaction experiences for its passengers. The soon-to-launch Saudi airline, owned by the Public Investment Fund, will integrate noon's transaction gateway into its system, improving processing capabilities and ensuring secure, efficient payments.
This collaboration will offer travelers benefits such as card acceptance, alternative payment options, and enhanced features, underlining Riyadh Air’s commitment to elevating the passenger experience. The move aligns with the Saudi government’s push towards a cashless society, with digital wallet usage in the country skyrocketing from 315,000 users in 2018 to 17 million in 2022, according to the Saudi Central Bank.
Adam Boukadida, Riyadh Air's CFO, emphasized that the partnership with noon payments will optimize operational efficiency and offer guests a familiar and trusted payment method. He also highlighted the airline's dedication to digitally enhancing the travel experience and contributing to Saudi Arabia's broader economic goals. This partnership is part of Riyadh Air's ongoing commitment to innovation since its launch in March 2023.
