Startup 'Regards' Raises $1.5M to Revolutionize Gifting in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabian startup, Regards, which specializes in offering unique gifting experiences, has secured $1.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Core Vision Investment. Founded in 2021 by Yasser Aljumaiah, Sultan Binjumah, and Saad Almazroua, the company aims to revolutionize the traditional practice of gift-giving in the Kingdom.

Yasser Aljumaiah highlighted the vast potential of the gift experience market, particularly in Saudi Arabia, where gifting is a deeply rooted tradition. He emphasized that Regards is driven by the goal of fostering closer connections through personalized and memorable experiences that uniquely celebrate Saudi culture. “We aim to provide people with more than just material gifts; we offer experiences that last a lifetime,” Aljumaiah stated.

Sultan Binjumah, co-founder, explained how Regards draws inspiration from the Saudi spirit of generosity and hospitality. He said that the platform connects people with experiences that showcase the richness of the country's culture and innovation. "This investment allows us to expand these experiences and continue building a platform that honors our nation's values and spirit," Binjumah noted.
