Morocco-based PrestaFreedom, a home services marketplace, has secured $1.1 million (MDH 11,000,000) in funding from Azur Innovation Fund, according to Wamda.

Founded in 2020 by Majid Bensilmane, the startup offers a range of home maintenance services through monthly and weekly subscriptions, boasting a customer base of one thousand returning users.

With the newly acquired funding, PrestaFreedom aims to enhance its logistics and technology development, facilitating the company's growth and enabling expansion into various African markets from next year onward.

"We are proud of this growth opportunity provided by our partners, Azur Innovation Fund. It is a crucial milestone in the development of this startup that I launched a few years ago to address a specific need, and its success now exceeds even the most optimistic expectations," commented Majid Benslimane, founder and CEO of PrestaFreedom, as quoted in the press release.

In addition to this investment round, PrestaFreedom disclosed that it has successfully raised multiple other rounds of funding to expedite its go-to-market efforts.
