PayerMax Expands Saudi Footprint with Riyadh Regional HQ
Singapore-based global payment solutions provider PayerMax is set to expand its regional presence in Saudi Arabia by joining the Ministry of Investment's Regional Headquarters Program (RHQ).
In a recent announcement, PayerMax revealed it received the Saudi RHQ license in June 2024 and plans to establish its regional headquarters in Riyadh. Co-Founder Wang Hu expressed excitement about this strategic move, emphasizing the company's commitment to strengthening its presence in the region and its long-term dedication to Saudi Arabia and the surrounding area.
PayerMax currently operates in the UAE and Bahrain, alongside its offices in Mexico, Brazil, China, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Hu highlighted that their expansion into Saudi Arabia, backed by enhanced payment infrastructure, aims to attract major global companies, particularly those originating from Asia in sectors such as gaming, e-commerce, and social media.
This strategic expansion aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on financial inclusion, economic diversification, and enhancing digital payment experiences. PayerMax aims to support these objectives by fostering financial inclusion, economic diversification, and job creation within Saudi Arabia. The company aims to streamline cross-border transactions, offering a secure, transparent, and reliable payment interface for its clients.
