Nominations Open for SEFFY Awards 2025 to Empower UAE Entrepreneurs

The SEFFY Awards 2025, a key feature of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) organized by Sheraa, is set to celebrate outstanding achievements in the UAE's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Honoring visionary founders, mentors, and enablers, the awards will spotlight accomplishments across five categories: Outstanding Mentor, Social Impact, Technology, Ecosystem Enabler, and Rising Star.
Nominations are open until January 19, 2025, with the winners to be announced during SEF 2025, held on February 1–2 at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park. Abeer Al Ameeri, Head of Partnerships and Programs at Sheraa, highlighted that the awards provide winners with increased visibility, industry recognition, and access to Sheraa’s global network of investors and collaborators.
The awards emphasize innovation, resilience, and impact. Categories range from honoring mentors guiding the next generation to recognizing young entrepreneurs under 35 driving transformative ideas. Winners are selected by a panel of industry experts based on innovation, impact, and commitment to growth.
Notable past recipients include Jay Sadiq of Fortyguard, Rama Kayyali of Little Thinking Minds, mentor Abdulla Alhashimi, and rising star Munir Basmaji.
