Logidoo Secures $50,000 Grant for AI-Powered Logistics Solutions Across Africa
Logidoo, a Pan-African logistics startup, has been awarded a $50,000 grant by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). The funding will be allocated towards the development and promotion of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions aimed at enhancing logistics processes throughout Africa.
With this investment, Logidoo plans to simplify transactions, optimize transportation routes, and boost overall efficiency within the continent’s logistics sector. These improvements are expected to reduce costs, shorten delivery times, and improve accessibility for businesses of all sizes.
Tasmir Ousmane Traore, the Founder and CEO of Logidoo, expressed enthusiasm about the grant, emphasizing that it will facilitate the creation of innovative AI solutions to tackle the challenges faced by the African logistics industry.
The company plans to use the funding to develop intelligent algorithms designed to optimize delivery routes, reduce fuel consumption, and automate routine tasks.
