Leo AI, a Cambridge, MA-based AI company for physical product design, raised $9.7M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Flint Capital, with participation from an a16z scout, TechAviv, Two Lanterns VC, Bertrand Sicot, and Prof. Yossi Matias.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the team, scale into new markets, and enhance the product development.

Founded in 2013 by Dr. Maor Farid and Moti Moravia, Leo AI lets engineers build products by turning their ideas like a sketch or a short text prompt into full 3D models. By replacing hours of manual work with instant, accurate solutions, it promises to help companies cut up to 70% of their engineering time and cost.

Engineers at companies like Scania, HP, Siemens and Mobileye (by Intel), have already used Leo to generate over 475K 3D concepts.
