Droxi Raises $21 Million to Simplify Healthcare Administration Burdens
Gadi Shenhar, Droxi Co-founder & CEO
Droxi, a tech startup addressing administrative challenges in healthcare, has secured $21 million in a Series A funding round led by Drive Capital, bringing its total funding to $25 million. Other investors include Verissimo, AirAngels, Lurie Consulting, and Elad Litman.
Founded in 2022 by Gadi Shenhar, a former Chief Data Officer at Aidoc Medical, and Raveh Ben Simon, a former Qualcomm software engineer, Droxi operates with a 40-member team in Israel. Both founders are Technion graduates and alumni of the elite 8200 unit.
The company’s mission was sparked by a personal tragedy in Shenhar's family, revealing the systemic issue of administrative burdens in healthcare. Droxi’s software simplifies access to vital medical data, streamlining processes and reducing fatigue among medical professionals. By eliminating tedious searches in electronic health records, doctors can focus more on patient care and decision-making.
“Fewer clicks and searches mean medical staff are calmer and less fatigued, which directly improves the quality of care for everyone,” Shenhar stated.
