OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, has unveiled a significant update to its popular AI system, promising users more concise and direct responses.

The latest iteration, dubbed GPT-4 Turbo, introduces controversial language in its interactions, aiming to enhance engagement.

However, this update comes with a catch: GPT-4 Turbo is exclusively accessible to subscribed users of ChatGPT. According to reports by the Mint, this includes individuals who have subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise, or API services.

In a statement released on their platform, OpenAI announced, "Our new GPT-4 Turbo is now available to paid ChatGPT users. We’ve improved capabilities in writing, math, logical reasoning, and coding."

This upgrade marks a significant milestone as GPT-4 Turbo has been trained on data until April 2024, unlike its predecessor, which was only updated until April 2023.

Notably, access to the latest version is limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers exclusively.

Users on the free tier or those utilizing the service without an account will continue to interact with GPT-3.5.
