Coscharis Technologies Limited, part of the Coscharis Group, has secured a monumental $4 billion investment to drive renewable energy projects across Nigeria. The initiative is set to transform power access for businesses, startups, and, eventually, residential areas, aligning with the nation’s sustainability goals and reducing its dependency on fossil fuels.

Initially, the project will focus on providing renewable energy solutions to government agencies, banks, manufacturers, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As the project advances, it will expand to benefit individual households, reshaping Nigeria’s energy landscape.

Central to this investment is the deployment of solar-powered solutions aimed at tackling the country's chronic power challenges. Sunday Mukoro, managing director of Coscharis Technologies, played a pivotal role in securing the funding in India. He explained that the funds will offer Nigerian businesses access to environmentally friendly energy alternatives, enabling them to meet global climate goals while promoting business growth.

“This funding will allow Nigerian entrepreneurs and businesses to overcome power challenges and seize new opportunities for growth,” Mukoro noted. The initiative underscores the importance of reliable energy for business survival and growth, particularly for SMEs, and promises to address Nigeria’s long-standing power issues with sustainable solutions.
