New Mobile Studio Circle Games Raises $7.25M for Debut Title

Local mobile game developer Circle Games announced that it has received funding. According to information provided by Circle Games, the startup has raised $7.25 million in its seed round. Circle Games' $7.25 million seed round was led by BITKRAFT Ventures. Other participants in the round  include 16z Speedrun, Play Ventures, APY Ventures, and e2vc.

Circle Games, founded by a team that previously worked at major mobile game companies like Gram Games, Dream Games, and Good Job Games, was founded in Istanbul in October 2024. Circle Games, whose co-founders include Mustafa Özdemir, Mehmet Ay, Göktürk Balıkçı, and Arda Özarslan, is a game studio focusing on puzzle games.

Sort Express, Circle Games' first game, is currently in development. According to information shared by Circle Games, Sort Express, which has been in development since 2024, is expected to be available within 10 weeks. Currently managed by a team of 12, Circle Games aims to expand its team with the investment.

BITKRAFT Ventures Partner Jasper Brand stated that Circle Games combines its gaming knowledge with a high development speed and a clear understanding of how to be successful in today's mobile gaming market, making it one of the most promising studios they have seen in the seed investment phase.
