Blueroomcare Secures Pre-Seed Funding for Digital Therapy Expansion
Blueroomcare, a Nigerian startup offering insurance-covered digital therapy, has secured an undisclosed amount of pre-seed funding. The funding will aid the company's mission to provide affordable and accessible therapy across Africa.
Founded in late 2021, Blueroomcare facilitates communication between clients and therapists through in-app messaging, videos, and voice messages. The platform combines advanced algorithms with personalized support from licensed mental health professionals, delivering a comprehensive and customized mental health experience.
The pre-seed funding round was spearheaded by EHA Impact Ventures, with additional contributions from TVC Labs and Innovest Africa. The funds will be used to enhance the platform's features, introduce new capabilities, and expand its reach to a wider audience.
“We are thrilled to have the support of such a remarkable group of investors who believe in our mission,” said Moses Aiyenuro, founder and CEO of Blueroomcare. “This funding will allow us to develop our technology further and expand our services, bringing us closer to our goal of making high-quality mental health care available to everyone, everywhere.”
