Beco Attracts $10 Million Investment to Scale Operations and Increase Market Presence

Eco-friendly home, kitchen, and personal care brand Beco has secured $10 million in a pre-Series B investment round led by Tanglin Venture Partners. The Mumbai-based company, which prides itself on being 100% plastic-free, attracted participation from existing investor Rukam Capital, along with Synergy Capital, Manish Choksi (promoter of Asian Paints), and Titan Capital Winners Fund.

This funding round follows Beco's earlier Series A round in December 2022, where it raised $3 million, primarily led by Rukam Capital. The newly acquired funds will be directed towards expanding Beco's offline sales infrastructure in key regions, increasing production capacity and innovation, and enhancing brand awareness.

Founded in 2019 by Aditya Ruia, Akshay Varma, and Anuj Ruia, Beco has seen significant growth, reportedly tripling its sales over the past year. The brand's products, which include toiletries, tissue, and towel rolls, are now available in 10,000 retail locations, with order values matching or exceeding those of established competitors.
