Aqua Security Raises $60 Million Extension in Series E Funding
Israeli cybersecurity startup Aqua Security has secured a substantial $60 million in additional funding, expanding its previously announced Series E funding round to a total of $195 million.
Established in 2015, Aqua Security, with headquarters in Tel Aviv and Boston, boasts an impressive clientele including industry giants like PayPal, Netflix, and Samsung.
These companies rely on Aqua's platform for a wide array of cloud security services, ranging from cloud workload protection (CWPP) to Kubernetes security posture management, software supply chain security, risk and vulnerability scanning, and malware protection.
With this recent funding, Aqua Security's total investment since its inception now stands at approximately $325 million.
The Series E extension round welcomes Evolution Equity Partners as the lead investor.
Evolution Equity Partners is renowned for its substantial focus on the cybersecurity sector and recently launched a $400 million fund aimed at bolstering innovative ventures in the industry.
