On Wednesday the 15th of November 2017, our portfolio tech accelerator Speed@BDD launched its Cycle V acceleration program at the Beirut District during the Lebanese Entrepreneurship Week. With over 150 attendees all being key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem ranging from investors to media representatives, 7 startups were presented during the launch. (Actachef, Cabbis, CraveHome, DrApp, Spike,Tapklik, TeenWhoCode) The fifth acceleration cycle will conclude in January and will be followed by a Demo Day event around mid-February. Speed@BDD Launches its Cycle V Acceleration

Cabbis participated in Speed@BDD’s fifth acceleration program, where it received funding and mentorship to scale its operations. The startup offers a cloud-based subscription service for traditional taxi companies, helping them transition smoothly to an Uber-like digital model and expand their business. Through Speed@BDD, Cabbis benefited from $30,000 in equity funding, in-kind support, and a $15,000 equity-free grant from the iSME Program, enabling it to enhance its platform and strengthen its market presence.
