Kredit is one of the specialized financing arms in GB Capital supporting small and medium enterprises. Leveraging a unique approach, it prioritizes accessibility, reliability, speed, transparency, and building trust with its clients.

Kredit, a newly launched SME financing company under GB Capital Group, has secured EGP 50 million in funding from the National Bank of Egypt (NBE). This funding aims to enhance financial inclusion and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Egypt. Kredit plans to use the funds to provide tailored financial solutions with flexible terms and fast processes, leveraging advanced technology to meet the needs of the SME sector.

NBE grants Kredit EGP 50mln in funding

Blnk secured a combined pre-seed and seed funding of $12.5 million led by Emirates International Investment Company and Sawari Ventures, with participation from local and international angel investors. Additionally, Blnk raised $11.2 million in debt funding from local banks and $8.3 million through a securitised bond issuance underwritten by the National Bank of Egypt and Banque du Caire. The funds will support Blnk's digital lending platform, which offers instant consumer credit at the point of sale, promoting financial inclusion in Egypt.

Egyptian fintech Blnk raises $32 million in equity, debt funding

Blnk, a fintech startup in Egypt, raised $23.7 million in equity and debt funding, along with $8.3 million in securitized bond issuance, to enhance its AI-powered lending platform and expand financial inclusion. The funding was led by Emirates International Investment Company and Sawari Ventures, with debt funding from local banks and bond issuance underwritten by National Bank of Egypt and Banque du Caire.

Blnk raises $32mln to power instant inclusive consumer credit in Egypt

The funding round, Egypt’s largest Fintech Series A round so far, was led by Nclude Fintech Fund by Global Ventures.
Proceeds will be used to increase market leadership and build out Lucky’s credit capabilities as customers become more educated and experienced using credit.
