The UAE has experienced heavy M&A activity, especially in comparison to fellow GCC countries.
In MENA, it ranks 2nd, in terms of M&A transaction volume, only behind Israel.
The UAE has witnessed 645 M&A transactions from 2017 till mid-2022.
The UAE has witnessed more than 100 transactions through majority of the years except for 2020.
In 2021, there were 140 transactions.
