Buy Now Pay Later fintech apps and companies have been gaining steam around the world over the past five years, and Saudi Arabia is no different. Tamara is one of Saudi's most funded startups, and this is their bread and butter. As of 2022, 10 million customers had engaged with a BNPL account, and 5.8 Million were active BNPL users; that's roughly 18% of the country's population, meaning one in five consumers in Saudi Arabia are using BNPL to facilitate their purchases.
