Top German States With The Most Charge Points 2021 & 2022

Bavaria and North Rhine Westphalia have emerged as frontrunners in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure race in Germany.

In 2021, Bavaria took the lead with an impressive 12,468 charging points, reflecting its commitment to fostering sustainable mobility. Fast forward to 2022, and Bavaria has further elevated its charging network, boasting an impressive 16,581 charging points.

Meanwhile, North Rhine Westphalia, not to be outdone, demonstrated substantial growth in its charging infrastructure, going from 10,583 points in 2021 to a commendable 14,498 in 2022.
