Saudi Arabia M&A: What is the Value of Transactions Year on Year?
While there were 229 transactions completed from 2017 onwards, only 139 (61%) have reported deal values.
These transactions were worth US$ 110.5 billion and the average value per transaction is US$795 million.
2020 represents 64% of the total M&A value across the past five years, led by the US$ 69 billion M&A transaction of Saudi Arabian Oil Company’s acquisition of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation from Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
