Venture capital funding in the MENAPT region (Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Turkiye) for September 2024 reached a total of $568.7 million across 77 deals, reflecting a 38% decrease in total deal value compared to September 2023, which saw $914.3 million across 109 deals. Total funding value almost doubled from August 2024, which recorded $283.6 million across 56 deals, marking a 38% increase in deal count for September.
September's top five funding rounds highlighted the strength of mobility tech, which appeared twice in the rankings, raising over $120 million. Quantum computing, cloud technologies enhanced by AI, and fintech also secured major funding.
