Despite its relatively small size, Israel punches well above it’s weight class when it comes to M&A transactions.
Sectoral coverage is very different as compared to the GCC, where four sectors accounted for 60% of the transactions.
In Israel, however, the TMT (Technology, media and telecom) sector is the heavy-weight, accounting for 37% of all executed transactions in the country.
The next three sectors account for 35% of transactions.
These include Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer sectors.
