BYD and Tesla, China and America&rsquo;s respective leading EV&nbsp;manufacturers posted record sales for several months in&nbsp;2023; BYD alone sold 641,000 EVs in the first half of 2023,&nbsp;out-selling Tesla&rsquo;s 564,000 cars sold.
