GCC M&A: Who’s Buying GCC Companies, by Nationality?
For 1,173 completed M&A transactions in the GCC, acquirors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait figured in the top three, with over 100 transactions each.
Kuwait based acquirors were involved in 111 transactions of the 1,173 total transactions, acquirors from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were involved in 161 transactions and acquirors from the UAE were involved in 359 transactions.
To round out the top 5, UK based acquirors were involved in 76 transactions while US based acquirors figured in 64 transactions.
