Ernst & Young ranked 2nd for financial advisory with 18 transactions, although the value of transactions was only reported across ten transactions totaling US$ 19.6 billion, of which the UAE accounted for transactions worth US$ 18.7 billion.
The firm was involved in four of the GCC countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait, while Ernst & Young was not reported to be involved in any transaction from both Bahrain and Qatar.
2019 and 2020 were the years where two transactions totaled US$ 17.9 billion, while 2022 saw one reported transaction from Saudi Arabia worth US$ 600 million.
