Egypt M&A: Transaction Split by Industry & Year

Three sectors have dominated the M&A landscape in Egypt accounting for 50% of all transactions.
This is very similar to the landscape in the UAE, where three sectors dominated the landscape.
In the case of Egypt, the top three sectors are Consumer, Financials and Real estate, in comparison to the UAE’s top three sector being TMT (Technology, media and telecom), Industrials and Consumer.
